And what about me? This is all weel and great, but what do I think about Logarska personally? Well – I’m a road cyclist (tho I don’t look like one – not in a million years 😀 ) and Slovenia is a dream country for me! Amazing cycling culture, infrastructure, legacy, the sheer number of likeminded people, all cheering for Pogačars, Rogličs and Mohoričs of the world – seeing apline views and that untouched natural beauty only made me understand some things:

1. We are so small in this world! We are but a speckle of dust in grand scheme of things. This leads me to my 2nd point
2. Respect the Earth. Respect the fact we are here because it exists! Don’t litter! Don’t cut down trees! Don’t step over freshly cut grass! Don’t destroy the flowers that are in their natural habitat! Don’t be cruel to animals! Don’t be cruel to each other! Have time, understanding for another human being – they might need you. Be there for your friends and family! In fact – be there for anyone – it’s the human thing to do!
3. I will be back! Oh I will SO be back and I will so bring my bike with me and ride those roads! Soak in the sun, the wind, the freshness! I will come back and I will bring army of cyclists with me =)

What about Lidija & Matjaž?

By the power of all-mighty social media, Lidija stumbled upon my Instagram (well, that’s blatant lie-her daughter came along my IG, more on that later) in search for a true documentary wedding photographer. Their requests were quite simple to be honest – We are in our 50s, this is our 2nd marriage, we don’t plan on having crazy party or anything that’s considered obligatory by classic wedding standards, and we want a guy who’s not going to interfere, who will blend in and make us relaxed.

Well, say no more – I’m your guy =)

This was organized as a simple get-together with a ceremony being placed on the backyard of Kmečka hiša Ojstrica with no more than 20ish of closest and most important friends and family. Small, personal, romantic, casual – just the way I like them.

It only goes to show that age-old saying “Less is more” really is a thing and it should be highly regarded.

As you can clearly see by now – I could write,and talk and discuss about Logarska and Slovenia for oh so many moons, but you are here to see the images, aren’t you? Well there they are – I do hope you enjoy them ♥️
